Cape Town – Reality TV star and South African millionaire Shauwn “MaMkhize” Mkhize was recently spotted with bodyguards at a homecoming event at Kwaggafontein in Mpumalanga.
This followed the backlash she received on social media after releasing a statement denying knowledge of abuse allegations levelled against her son, Andile Mpisana by his former girlfriend Sithelo Shozi.
In a statement on her Instagram page, MaMkhiwe labeled the accusation by Sithelo as “false and defamatory”.
“Given the nature, severity and extent of these allegations the matter has been referred to our attorneys and from now hence forth – it’s of the utmost importance that we let the law take its course in this regard,” wrote MaMkhize.

The businesswoman and her son Andile Mpisane trended on Twitter after the abuse allegations were made against them by Sithelo.
Amid these allegations, MaMkhize shared snaps and videos showing armed women bodyguards while at a traditional homecoming event over the weekend.
“Women power. I love seeing women taking up spaces in male-dominated industries. It’s such a breath of fresh air to see us women challenging the status quo. Super proud,” she captioned one of the pictures on her Instagram.
