Cape Town – Media personality and Reality-TV star Somizi Mhlongo has taken to social media to share his last moments with the late veteran actor Jamie Barlett.
Jamie died on Monday.
Circumstances surrounding his death remained unknown.
Somizi spent some time with Jamie on Sunday evening, just a day before he passed away.

According to Times Live, the star last made a public appearance at the Lifestyle Brooklyn club in Pretoria for Somizi’s African Cuisine event.
Somizi shared the videos of Jamie who appeared to be in good spirits, flashing a warm smile as he greeted fans and interacted with people at the event.

“And just like that….last night would be the last night together, literally. I even made fun of you for greeting each and every person, including the kitchen staff. Your spirit knew. Farewell my Jamie.” Somizi captioned one of the pictures he shared.
The reality tv star also shared how Jamie disappeared from everyone at the event to spend time with kitchen staff.
“I looked for you and this is where I found you, Jamie,” Somizi captioned a video in which Jamie could be seen hugging, kissing and taking pictures with the staff.
“You lived as if you knew you had less than 12 hours on this earth,” he captioned another video.

Jamie was known for playing David Genaro on etv’s Rhythm City until 2020 and Mike O’Reilly on SABC3’s Isidingo.
He was among SA’s most-loved actors, winning three prestigious SA Film and Television Awards in a career spanning more than three decades, the report said.
eNCA said that Jamie was born to a South African mother and a British father in Maidenhead, England, in 1966.
