Cape Town – A South African man, Anthony Theodorou, was reportedly arrested with two others in Ohio, in the United States, for allegedly killing a 36-year-old man, Timothy Hovanec, on April 24.
According to News24, Hovanec was in Auglaize County on family business when he went missing on Tuesday.
Detectives discovered his body in a rural area of Auglaize County after conducting an investigation into his whereabouts.
According to Sidney Daily News, Hovanec was killed by his estranged wife Amanda Hovanec, 35, who used a lethal dose of a synthetic opioid obtained from Theodorou.
Amanda and her mother, Anita Green, 61, disposed of the body in her garage after injecting Hovanec, the report said.

Green also drove Amanda and Theodorou to a different location to dispose of the body.
News24 reported that Amanda filed for divorce in 2020 and had attempted to get the court to take away her estranged husband’s rights to see their children, but the court denied her request.

A judge set bonds for all the accused at $2 million.
The trio was set to appear in court on Monday.
