Cape Town – South African radio personality and DJ, Mark Pilgrim has become the topic of much concern after the cancer patient has not updated his followers on social media in 18 days, causing some anxiety among those who have been keeping up with his journey to recovery.
The 53-year-old Hot102.7fm presenter documents his journey to inspire his followers, but his lack of activity has caused some concern.

After the recent confusion surrounding the rumoured death of the DJ, the radio station that Mark is attached to confirmed that he wasn’t, and requested fans to not spread fake news.
The radio company took to social media to inform followers that Mark requested people to “refrain from sharing fake news”.
“HOT1027 Would like to inform the public that Mark Pilgrim has not passed on. Social media posts suggesting he’s died are incorrect. Mark has asked that people refrain from sharing fake news around his condition,” said HOT1027 MD Lloyd Madurai.
