Cape Town – Media personality and medical doctor Musa Mthombeni can’t stop gushing over his new wife Liesl Laurie’s new level of being a “baddie”.
He took to his social media page on Twitter recently to post his wife’s new hairstyle.
In a tongue-in-cheek tweet he wrote: “Liesl “Baddie” Laurie-Mthombeni.
“Whenever @liesllaurie says she going’s to the @lajawihair to touch up her hair, I know I’m about to have a week filled with problems.
“Liesl starts to behave like she just won the lotto and it’s tickets for me at that point. She behaves like credit cards shouldn’t have limits.
“She starts calling me “baby boy” “sweet cheeks” “sexy thing” other names I can’t say here.
“Also, it must be said — she just got a Crus of Helix ear piercing. She has evolved to the highest level of baddie. She has multiple ear piercings.”

The married pair who seem to be enjoying their union as their respective social media pages are always lit with their cute posts together – sharing their love – reportedly met on social media.
According to Musa, 31, the former Miss SA Liesl, 30, first caught his eye when a mutual friend posted a photo on his Instagram stories.

“I commented on this story with a heart eyes emoji and sent @dr_khanyile a voice note highlighting my utter excitement for this post. Within the hour I sent @liesllaurie a sweet innocent message and as they say….. the rest is history,” Musa wrote in his Instagram post at the time.

The loved-up pair also joined as ambassadors for Carling Black Label’s #NoExcuse Bride Armour campaign last year in a bid to curb gender-based-violence (GBV) and intimate-partner-violence (IPV).

Liesl says when she and Musa were approached for the campaign, they felt compelled to tie themselves to an initiative “that carries weight and value”.
