Cape Town —At UFC 305 in Australia this past Saturday, South African martial artist Dricus du Plessis was joined by rugby stars Siya Kolisi and Eben Etzebeth, who came out in full support during the triumphant match.
The notable rugby sensations joined du Plessis at the event, walking side-by-side with him before his big match.
As they made their entrance with serious expressions, the national anthem played powerfully in the background.

Du Plessis successfully defended his UFC Middleweight Championship with a fourth-round submission victory over former titleholder Israel Adesanya.
The UFC match occurred just hours before the Springboks’ 30-12 victory over Australia in their second game of the Castle Lager Rugby Championship on Saturday, August 17.
In true fanboy fashion, Kolisi took to Instagram post-match to celebrate du Plessis’s victory, sharing a picture of the Springbok stars with their fists raised beside the champion.
“🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦AND STILL @dricusduplessis 🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦🇿🇦” he wrote.
