Proteas fast bowler Kagiso Rabada will miss the two-match T20I series against Ireland in Bristol.
This follows a review of his left medial ankle injury by the Proteas medical team.
Rabada will continue medical management and rehabilitation and his progress will be closely monitored in preparation for the upcoming three-match Test series against England later this month.
The first T20I against Ireland is on Wednesday (7:30pm, SA time), with the second at the same venue on Friday.
