Cape Town – A 38-year-old woman was reportedly found dead behind the steering wheel of her car which was riddled with bullets close to Olifantsfontein and Allandale roads in Midrand.
Reports indicated that the incident happened on Wednesday.
She had gunshot wounds to her upper body.
IOL reported that police received a shooting report at Olifantsfontein and Allan road.

“On arrival at the scene, a blue Hyundai i20 was found on the side of the road, against a palisade fence. An African woman was behind the steering wheel, with gunshot wounds to her upper body,” the report quoted police spokesperson Colonel Dimakatso Sello as saying.

Anyone with information about the incident was requested to contact the nearest police station or the Crime Stop Line at 08600 10111, the report said.
