Cape Town – Businessman Jaco Swart, who was recently convicted for the brutal assault on his wife, allegedly beat another woman days before he was sentenced at the Pretoria North Regional Court.
AfriForum Private Prosecution Unit spokesperson Barry Bateman said in a tweet posted on Tuesday that: “As some people have pointed out, Jaco Swart allegedly assaulted a woman this last weekend. Afriforum’s Adv. Gerrie Nel brought this to the attention of the prosecutor before sentencing, but was disregarded. We also have a case number from another incident on Saturday, wrote Bateman on his Twitter.

Earlier this week, Swart was sentenced to a R20 000 fine and a suspended three-year prison sentence after videos of the merciless attack on his wife, Nicoleen Swart circulated on social media.
The sentence was described by angry social media users as a slap on the wrist, but the National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) maintained that it was not lenient as it was coupled with a suspended prison term, according to IOL.
In the latest case, which was reportedly opened by a Stellenbosch woman, Swart allegedly knelt on the shoulders of his former girlfriend and tried to suffocate her, The South African reported.
