Cape Town – South African reality television personality, Mome Mahlangu, recently took to Instagram to address deeply personal family matters, shedding light on challenges that have impacted her marriage.
Mome, known for her appearances on reality TV, including alongside her comedian husband Tol Ass Mo, shared her thoughts in a heartfelt post.
She revealed that her family had attempted to undermine her marriage, a revelation that comes in the wake of her and Tol Ass Mo’s decision to reconcile after announcing their intention to divorce just weeks prior.
“Don’t let the family you come from Destroy the family that comes from you … those who know they know !!!,” she wrote.
Mome conveyed her astonishment at the lengths to which some members of her family had gone, revealing that schemes had been devised against her for months.
“Basically, don’t let your family ruin your family. I just never knew how much our marriage upsets them. Things were being plotted against me for months now they are so angry as their plan was to publicly humiliate US when my husband was sick. But what not? The voice said Be still Mome and know I’m God, as we let them seek the real God for their evil acts. They should not have done it to these two spiritual seeds but kept their distance like they have for 14 years.
“Just remember Family will ruin ur family. The devil never attacks an empty home, but God protects his Own chosen vessels just Exercise your faith…” she wrote.
