Cape Town – The family of the South African musical artist and businessman, Mampintsha has requested privacy after the artist suffered a stroke.
Mampintsha’s record label, Afrotainment released a press statement in which it confirmed that the artist had a stroke and that he is currently under medical observation.
“The star as he is affectionately known as Mampintsha, from multi-award winning group Big Nuz has suffered a minor stroke a week ago upon his return from a performance with Big Nuz.
“He is currently in hospital receiving medical attention and is under doctors observation,” Afrotainment said.
“The family asks that the public and media respect their privacy during this difficult time,” it added.
The label requested prayers from the public and wished the 40-year-old a speedy recovery.
