Cape Town – Podcast and Chill co-host and radio presenter, Sol Phenduka, has taken to social media to reflect on the impact the podcast has had on its audience, guests, and the industry.
Sol expressed his opinion, as the podcast celebrated 100 million views on YouTube.
He looked at artists whose lives changed after appearing on the show, and expressed his relief that the podcast was able to conquer when tweeps called for it to be cancelled due to its often controversial topics and guests.
“Imagine if the podcast had been successfully cancelled. Imagine! Zola’s story wouldn’t have been told, Dr Malinga wouldn’t be getting help — lives wouldn’t have been changed. The entire Podcast and Chill team. Lives are changed. So many chillers out there. Lives changed and saved,” Sol wrote on his Twitter timeline.

Since being on the show, fans and celebrities have offered to help the star while Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, popularly known as Makhadzi has booked him for her one-woman show.
