Cape Town – GoodLuck band member, Juliet Harding, took to Instagram recently to announce her pregnancy. The singer and her long-term partner (both professionally and in her personal life), Ben Peters, are eagerly anticipating the arrival of their first child.
Juliet expressed her excitement in a heartfelt Instagram post, stating: “Dear GoodLuck family, we have some crazy happy news to share… we are officially adding a brand-new band mate in 2024… friends, we are having a BABY!!!”
They shared their excitement about expecting their first child in 2024, Juliet reflected on their 15-year relationship, expressing gratitude for their journey together.
“Ben and I have been together for 15 wonderful years… please don’t fall off your chair we never wanted to hide it; we just were never particularly public about it…”

She highlighted their decision to keep their personal life private while focusing on their music career as members of GoodLuck. Juliet emphasised the love and support they’d received from their community and expressed anticipation and nervousness about becoming parents.
“And I guess we were conscious of trying to keep our relationship a bit off the radar. We always wanted our music to be the focus, and we felt that we could build our lives in the background… and let me tell you, what a journey it has been!” she wrote.
They look forward to welcoming their baby in June 2024, referencing lyrics from their music that now hold special significance.
“We can’t wait to welcome our lucky little baby into this world in June 2024. Pretty crazy that we wrote this lyric without knowing what was destined in our stars: June… you can’t come too soon.” she wrote.
