Cape Town – Actress Florence Masebe is set to step in the role of Meikie Maputla, portrayed by Harriet Manamela, on the popular soap Skeem Saam.
MDNnews announced on X/Twitter, that due to unforeseen circumstances, Harriet Manamela would temporarily step away from the role, with Florence Masebe stepping in until the end of season 12.
Manamela’s final scene for the season is scheduled to air on 5 April. From 15 May, viewers can expect Florence Masebe to temporarily assume the role of Meikie Maputla.

IOL reported that the production company had confirmed the casting change, stating: “Due to unforeseen circumstances, the character of Meikie Maputla, played by Harriet Manamela, will be replaced until the end of season 12.”
