Cae Town – Former SAA board chairperson and Jacob Zuma confidante, Dudu Myeni, had her corruption case postponed to November 21, 2024, due to ill health.
Myeni and former Sondolo IT Director Trevor Mathenjwa were arrested in September 2023.
They face charges of corruption and fraud, with the case involving alleged gratifications received from state capture-accused Bosasa and its subsidiary Sondolo IT, totaling around R300 000, Times Live reported.

Myeni, a close associate of former president Jacob Zuma, is accused of failing to disclose her interests as per SAA’s conflict-of-interest policy during her tenure.
She is alleged to have received security upgrades for her property and benefited from hotel accommodation and travel expenses from Bosasa during May 2014 to March 2015, amounting to over R107 000, the report said.
Both Myeni and Mathenjwa are out on R10,000 bail.
IOL reported on Thursday that Investigating Directorate spokesperson, Henry Mamothame, said that the two will return to court when the case resumes in November, contingent on Myeni’s health and ability to attend the trial.
