Cape Town – Afrotainment founder Mthokozisi Khathi, widely known as DJ Tira, has taken decisive action to terminate the professional relationship with his long-time road manager, Msenzito Shezi.
The decision comes in the wake of allegations regarding the mismanagement of resources. DJ Tira and Msenzito Shezi had collaborated seamlessly for an impressive span of nine years.
A report by Sunday World suggests that Shezi’s dismissal from the label was prompted by DJ Tira’s discovery of financial improprieties. It is purported that Shezi had been mishandling funds and potentially overcharging event organisers for artist bookings.
Afrotainment released a statement to confirm Shezi’s removal from the label.
