Cape Town – Renowned house DJ and producer Mobi Dixon, known by his real name Mabi Ntuli, was recently involved in a car accident.
A statement released by his team via his Instagram page confirmed the incident and said that he was currently receiving medical care.
“After an unfortunate car accident, Mobi Dixon is currently receiving the best medical care. We would like to thank the medical team for their support and professionalism. As well as the family and friends who have been with him through this difficult time,” read the statement
His team emphasised the need for privacy as the DJ focuses on his recovery.
“In order to give Mobi the space he needs to recover, we ask for privacy and patience from the media and fans during this time.”
In light of the accident, all scheduled performances by Mobi have been cancelled until further notice.
The statement assured fans that new performance dates will be announced once he has fully recovered.
“All Mobi Dixon’s shows are currently cancelled. We will announce new dates in future. Thank you for your understanding and continued support.”
