Cape Town – South African rapper and songwriter, Cassper Nyovest has revealed a rare level of transparency regarding the challenges he has faced in his life, especially following his recent embrace of newfound faith.
The esteemed artist opened up about how his encounter with Jesus liberated him from the grip of depression and anxiety.
Taking to Twitter, he expressed,”I went through sooo much in the past 2 years. Mentally I was drained and I was burnt out. I felt unsafe because of threats, even got bodyguards. Was diagnosed with depression and anxiety.” He further said “I really couldn’t see the light and I couldn’t control my mind at some point , I ran to Jesus and he healed me. I would like to say. Thank you Jesus!!! You are my lord and saviour!!!.”
According to a report by IOL since December 2023, Cassper Nyovest has been candidly sharing his testimony of his profound spiritual experience,He even posted a video of himself getting baptised earlier this year.
