Mbalula was proud of the way in which the KZN structure conducted itself during this process and that they respected the outcomes of what the leadership said, Newzroom Afrika reported.
“Despite some leakages that happened over a period, we have respected our structures by giving them feedback and reporting to them the outcomes of the National Executive Committee,” he said.
“Our structures in KZN have no doubt conducted themselves in a disciplined, orderly fashion, in the way the ANC has got to conduct its affairs,” he added.
“It does not mean that they agreed with the decision or they did not have dissenting voices about what they were reading in the press, but they respected the leadership and in this particular instance we are satisfied that the centre holds and our organisation have demonstrated important signs of decency and decorum,” he said.
