Cape Town – More than 30 people reportedly died in three separate road accidents on the N3 over the weekend.
In one of the accidents, a bus crash on the N3 in Mpumalanga claimed the lives of at least 10 people.
According to SowetanLive, the bus rolled on Sunday morning after the driver lost control on the N3 in Grootvlei.
The report said that many people were injured.

Netcare 911 spokesperson, Shawn Herbst said the scene was “absolute devastation”, with the dead and injured strewn around the scene.
Eleven people sustained critical injuries and 54 minor to moderate injuries, the report said.
News24 reported that another bus also crashed off the bridge at the De Hoek Toll Plaza in Heidelberg, Gauteng in the early hours of Sunday, leaving six dead and 60 people injured.
The report said the bus was on its roof on the side of the road, with some passengers already out of the wrecked vehicle while more were trapped in the wreckage.

Meanwhile, on Saturday, 16 people were reported dead in another deadly accident on the N3 near Pietermaritzburg.
“A truck driver lost control of his vehicle when the wheels on the right side of the truck apparently came off, resulting in the vehicle overturning onto the centre embankment,” News24 reported.
