Cape Town – Investigations are under way in Zimbabwe after five people believed to be members of the same family were reportedly found dead in the Mavuradonha Mountains in Mt Darwin.
According to News Day, police said in statement that the bodies were discovered by a hunter over the weekend.
“The ZRP [Zimbabwe Republic Police] reports that bodies of five people aged 69, 29, seven, five and a one-year-old minor, were found in Mavuradonha Mountains today by a hunter who then reported to the police,” the report quoted the police as saying.
The five had travelled 200km on foot from their home village in Manhondo in Muklumbura, Mt Darwin to Guruwe, NewZimbawe.com said.
They left on November 3, the report said.
