Cape Town – Motorists are set to see a welcome decrease in fuel prices, marking the first drop in four months.
Both grades of petrol will become nearly R2 cheaper per liter, while diesel prices will decrease by half that amount.
The price reduction is expected to alleviate some financial pressure on consumers, particularly benefiting the agriculture and mining industries, where diesel is a significant input cost.
Additionally, illuminating paraffin prices will also decrease.
The price adjustments are influenced by factors such as lower oil prices, a weaker rand, and changes in the slate levy.
Here is the official fuel price for November
Fuel | Price Change |
Petrol 93 | decrease of 178 cents per litre |
Petrol 95 | decrease of 178 cents per litre |
Diesel 0.05% | decrease of 85 cents per litre |
Diesel 0.005% | decrease of 82 cents per litre |
Illuminating Paraffin | decrease of 97 cents per litre |
LPGAS | increase of 149 cents per kg |
