Cape Town – Cash-strapped Mango Airlines has reportedly announced that its 750 workers can expect their salaries to be paid in full for the months of July, August, and September.
According to EWN, this came following its first meeting last week with creditors, employee representatives and business rescue practitioner, Sipho Sono.
The workers last received their wages in May, making it difficult for them to make ends meet.

According to Fin24, Sono said he was satisfied with the process so far.
“The next steps will be setting up several meetings with the various committees established. More details will be provided as the business rescue process unfolds,” the report quoted Sono as saying.
The airline has faced financial constraints for nearly a decade.
Last month Mango was granted permission by the Johannesburg High Court to go into business rescue on a voluntary basis, leaving it with bigger decisions to make.
