Cape Town – This week South Africa has experienced a steady decrease in load shedding stages as Eskom sees improvements in the generation capacity.
On Wednesday the power utility announced that stage 3 load shedding will remain until further notice.
It said repairs to damaged towers from Cahora Bassa in Mozambique were completed and restored to full capacity earlier this week.
Eskom said it will provide an update when there are any significant changes.
Due to some improvements in the generation capacity over the past 24 hours, Stage 3 loadshedding will remain in force until further notice. Eskom will provide an update as soon as any significant changes occur.

On Monday Eskom suspended stage 5 load shedding.
