Cape Town – Eskom has announced a sudden change in load-shedding plans after it suspended power cuts earlier.
Eskom reversed its decision and implemented stage 4 load-shedding from 4 pm on Saturday until 05:00 on Sunday.
No explanation was provided for the change.
However, the power utility said that load-shedding would be suspended from 05:00 to 16:00 on Sunday, with no further details about the schedule thereafter.

Eskom suspends load shedding indefinitely
Cape Town – Eskom has announced the suspension of load shedding until further notice.
The decision was made due to an improvement in generation capacity and a decrease in electricity demand, the power utility said on Saturday.
The power cuts were halted at 11:40.
Eskom has assured the public that it will promptly communicate any significant changes in the situation.
