Cape Town – Eskom has announced that stage 6 load shedding is set to be implemented from 16:00 on Tuesday until 22:00.
Thereafter load shedding will be lowered back to stage 4 until midnight.
This is due to the unlawful industrial action at various power stations which impacted planned maintenance and repairs, said Eskom in a statement.
“Eskom regrets to inform the public that Stage 6 loadshedding will be implemented from 16:00 until 22:00 this evening. Stage 4 loadshedding will then be implemented at 22:00 – 00:00.
“Loadshedding will then be reduced to Stage 2 until 05:00 on Wednesday morning. From 05:00 until 16:00 on Wednesday loadshedding will be implemented at Stage 4. Loadshedding 6 will then again be implemented at 16:00 – 22:00 tomorrow evening,” said Eskom.
