Cape Town – South African power utility, Eskom, has confirmed that power cuts will be enforced, announcing the implementation of stage 2 load shedding from 09:00 on Tuesday.
Eskom said stage 2 load shedding will be implemented “until further notice”.
“This is necessitated by a breakdown of a Duvha generating unit & a delay in returning to service another Duvha unit,” the utility said.
It added that further updates will be provided as soon as any significant changes occur.
