Cape Town – Elon Musk has responded positively after meeting with President Cyril Ramaphosa during his visit to the US for the United Nations General Assembly.
Musk shared on his platform, X, that it was “great meeting Ramaphosa,” following their discussion about investment opportunities in South Africa.

Ramaphosa also addressed the South Africa/USA Business Forum at the New York Stock Exchange, focusing on his efforts to secure R2-trillion in investment for South Africa.
He highlighted the structural reforms implemented over the past six years, which have opened the country to increased investment, particularly in the clean energy sector.
Ramaphosa emphasised the progress made in attracting investment and positioning South Africa as a key player in global markets through these reforms.
“The far-reaching structural reforms we have implemented over the past six years have opened up the country to increased levels of investment that continues to grow.
“This has been particularly evident in the clean energy sector that has attracted significant investment since our mobilisation drive began,” he said., according to Times Live.
