Cape Town – Zoleka Mandela wrote a beautiful letter dedicated to her little girl, and shared it in an Instagram post on Thursday to melt the hearts of her followers.
“To my namesake, my daughter, Zobuhle Jnr … Life is so full of beauty, but not everyone sees it,” the letter read.
In society today, many people have different ideas of what beauty is – one person’s perception of it may differ from the next. As Zoleka continued the affectionate letter, she advised her daughter that beauty is in “knowing who you are”.
“Give each day, the opportunity to become as beautiful as you want it to be. Always remember that knowing who you are is beauty,” Zoleka wrote.
Zoleka also advised her young daughter to live up to her name and own her beauty.
“Live up to your name – Zobuhle, “Of beauty,” and own your beauty, by being naturally yourself. I’ll always love you, beautiful … For forever and a day!” she added.
