Cape Town – South African actress Zoe Mthiyane recently shed light on her co-parenting journey with her baby daddies, sports journalist Robert Marawa and renowned composer, Lebohang “Lebo M” Morake.
The former Generations: The Legacy actress reportedly described the two men’s co-parenting styles as “respectful” and “impossible” respectively, reported The Citizen.
According to the report Mthiyane has a son named Awande with Marawa and a daughter named Lulu with Lebo M.
“I would describe parenting with Robert as respectful. Our families and close friends have played a major role in creating and maintaining a safety net around our son, and for that, I will forever be grateful. He [her son] is lucky,” the report quoted Mthiyane as saying.
While according to the actress co-parenting with Lebo M was not as pleasant as with Marawa, she said she was lucky to have had intensive therapy.
“Parenting with Lebo is impossible. We had to find ways to cope with that fact. However, I am lucky to have had intensive therapy, valuable advice and support to lean on. I practice gentle parenting as I learned earlier on that each child is born with their own personality,” she said.

However, Lebo M’s current wife Pretty Samuels-Morake has come to her husband’s defense and accused the actress of lying about the matter and being an absent mother, reported The South African.
Samuels-Morake allegedly had chosen to remain silent to maintain the dignity of her family and the wellbeing of the children but has since broken her silence, the report said.
“But given the severity and nature of these allegations, I can no longer remain silent whilst my children are attacked and associated with such defamatory statements in the media,” the report quoted Samuels-Morake as saying.
She alleged her husband was given custody of the child after Mthiyane’s arrest for driving under the influence of alcohol, the report said.
