Cape Town – South African singer and record producer Zakes Bantwini, real name Zakhele Madida, has made history after his hit single, Osama, reportedly retained the number one spot for 10 weeks in a row on SA’s radio charts.
According to Channel24, RadioMonitor confirmed that Osama is the first and only single in the history of its establishment to retain the number one spot 10 weeks in a row on local radio charts.

Osama took Twitter by storm when Zakes shared a snippet of him playing it at a live-streamed Kunye series event with Thandi Draai & Darque.

South Africans instantly fell in love with it and gave it an anthem status.
Since then many renowned DJs have been playing it at venues across the world including Spain, Portugal, England, Switzerland and even Kenya, according to TimesLIVE.
