Cape Town – Actress Simphiwe “Simz” Ngema took to Instagram recently to dedicate a heart-warming letter to her doting one-year-old son, Tiyani.
“I dreamt of your name before you were conceived, that’s how I know you are a gift from God,” she wrote.
“You’ve made me the happiest I have ever been. You are everything I prayed for. Gentle, kind, loving, considerate, energetic with an amazing personality.

“You’ve given me all the love I needed. I will always do my best to make you proud. I love you,” she penned the post.

Tiyani is Simphiwe’s love child that she had with model and TV presenter Tino Chinyani. The two are no longer together.
The couple shook their fans when they announced their break-up last year.
“An end to a beautiful love story. This has been one of my greatest experiences, a beautiful love story of two people fighting all the odds to be together. I have learnt to love again, to feel again, to live again and to smile again,” said Simphiwe at the time.
The pair met while Simphiwe was still in mourning after the tragic death of her actor husband, Dumi Masilela who was shot in a hijacking in Tembisa, Johannesburg, in August 2017.
He later died in hospital.
