Cape Town – South African singer, Ndivhudzannyi Ralivhona, better known by her stage name Makhadzi, struggled to contain her elation after American singer and television personality, Tamar Braxton, followed her on Instagram.
Makhadzi took to her Twitter page to share a screenshot she took of Tamar following her.
“Tamar Braxton, thanks for following me. You really made my day. I need to celebrate this. Anyone with umtomboti, can I please get two litres?” she tweeted.

Makhadzi, who was born and raised in Ha-Mashamba, Limpopo also took went to Facebook to share the news.
“Look who followed me on instagram,” she said.
“American singer @tamarbraxton followed me after posting my namibia performance,” Makhadzi added.
“I fainted again I will wake up on the first of October at makhuvha stadium,” she said.
The current trend suggests that South African artists are being recognised worldwide for their talent and the variety they bring to the music industry. Just last week, South African artist, Mthandazo Gatya, was noticed by John Legend after doing his #OpenVerseChallenge. He then went on to perform with the American mega-star live on stage.
