Cape Town – South African writer and creator, Franz Marx, has reportedly died.
He was 78.
According to EWN, Marx died in Pretorial on Sunday after contracting Covid-19.
He was best known for creating M-Net’s Egoli – Plek van Goud, which ran from 1992 to 2010.
Messages of condolences continued to pour on social media on Monday.
