Cape Town – After South African musician Big Zulu won his first boxing bout this past weekend, he turned his attention to his next opponent, none other than fellow SA rapper Cassper Nyovest.
Nyovest was there to watch Zulu’s big fight and the two were filmed speaking and shaking hands after the fight. This sparked rumours that the two would now definitely be fighting.
“Ngizolinda iDate my brother. Kodwa ke siyabonga kakhulu ukufika bekuyi ntokozo ukubona,” Big Zulu tweeted.

Big Zulu beat Brian Dings in his first fight that was meant to run for three rounds.
He managed to secure the win by technical knockout in the first round.
Big Zulu had been training with recognised names in the boxing industry, including Jodi Solomons and Roy Jones Jr, TimesLIVE reported.
“It was nice and easy. I think the guy was scared or still trying to find himself so when I stepped on that ring I did try to jab him. The guy was very heavy. I wanted him to continue so we can fight but one way or another he was going to get a knockout at the end of the day,” the report quoted him as saying.
In response, Dings denied the knockout and felt the match was not fair.
“There was no knockout there, and I was up on my feet because I tripped on that bad ring. The referee says it’s over, no counting, nothing. All I can say [is] congratulations to Big Zulu, much respect brother we move on. To the referee, next time we need [a] fair match,” he said.
