Cape Town – South African actress Khanyi Mbau was able to laugh at herself after an old tweet reappeared talking about her music venture.
Fans on Twitter managed to find a snippet from one of the song from her long-lost music album, called Igwinya. The song left many fans confused that Mbau even had an album, and the response to it left many fans in stitches.

Taking to Instagram the star appeared taken aback that the music had been dug up. In true Khanyi Mbau style, she admitted that she probably shouldn’t have ventured into the music business.
“Imagine making an album, good or not, 15 years ago and flops to only get recognition in 2023!! The recognition being comical!! What was I thinking?” she said.
Even fast food chains Nando’s got in the banter. It responded to a tweet saying it was Mbau’s fault that “igwinyas” now cost R5.
