Cape Town – After almost five years of saying “I do” to each other in a lavish ceremony that took place at LourensFord Wine Estate in the Western Cape, Minnie Dlamini and her husband Quinton Jones have reached a mutual agreement to part ways.
Minnie took to her Instagram account on Tuesday and posted a statement in which she announced to her 4.5 million followers that she and her husband Quinten are filing for a divorce.
“Despite our better efforts to absorb the changes in motion, the emotional burden and the post-traumatic distress of our individual loss outweighed our will.
“After months of separations and consultations with our family and a counsellor, we have taken the decision to officially file for divorce.

“Despite the end of our marriage and romantic relationship, we remain friends, business partners and loving parents to our beautiful son,” read the statement.
Minnie and Quinton have asked for the public to grant them privacy to process their announcement.
“We ask that you grant us privacy during this difficult time,” the statement said.
Their fairytale white wedding in 2017, was documented with a three-part docu-series “Becoming Mrs Jones” on Showmax.
The two share a son, Netha Makhosini Jones, together.
