Cape Town – A Durban-based wax sculptor, Lungelo Gumede, has honoured the legendary kwaito star Bonginkosi “Zola 7” Dlamini with a life-size wax sculpture.
Lungelo took to Instagram to share a video of people’s reactions to the wax sculpture.
What captured them the most was the resemblance that was uncanny.

According to Daily Sun, the sculpture took Lungelo seven days to finish.
He said that it was worth R500 000 but he will give it to Zola for free.
“I am glad to be part of a movement that honours Zola. This statue will remind the next generation about Zola’s work and will ensure his legacy lives on,” the report quoted Lungelo as saying.
