Cape Town — Grammy-winning artist, Zakes Bantwini, did a unique performance of his latest song, Mama Thula, in a hot air balloon in Tanzania.
He took to his Instagram account and posted a video of his performance in what his last day in the Serengeti. He described it as a once in a lifetime experience.

According to The Citizen, the ballooning expedition is the world’s first trans-Serengeti Ballooning Tour, which gives patrons an experience of the entire Serengeti flying by hot air balloon then landing on the Eastern shores of Lake Victoria.
Zakes performed at Daybreaker, a morning dance community that has over 500 000 followers across 28 cities worldwide. It inspires people around the world to start their day by waking up and dancing, first thing in the morning.
Mama Thula, Zakes’ song, has been a big studio hit, amassing nearly 150 000 streams on Spotify in just two weeks. The celebratory song which speaks to a mother’s prayers being answered.
