Cape Town – It has culminated to an intimate and private send-off for Rikhado “Ricky Rick” Makhado who passed away last week due to an alleged suicide.
He was only 34-years-old.
His absence in the entertainment scene continues to be felt, as many remember Ricky as the epitome of “love”.

According to Channel24, his younger brother on his send-off said that Ricky was “pure energy and joy” and one needed to feel his presence in order to understand him.
“You were pure energy and joy. You had to be felt to be understood. A speech could never explain the force you are. So, I won’t even try,” the publication quoted him as saying.
A City Press report said that Ricky was known and loved for his true passion for enriching and mentoring young talent.
