Cape Town — South African music star, Makhadzi, has had Mzansi talking about her latest antics after a video of her dance moves started trending on social media.
Makhadzi has, over the years, emerged as one of South Africa’s leading music artists. She revealed recently that she reached over 20 million streams on Spotify for 2023, capping off a highly successful year.
She was straight back into the trends when, during one of her shows, she made one lucky fan’s day after she pulled him up on stage to serenade him. The man, named Vusi, looked very nervous as Makhadzi started her fun.
She was told Vusi where to stand and what to do as she placed his hands on his head and pulled him around stage as she danced and sang with him. She ended the sequence by jumping into his arms and running her hand over his body before he went back to the crowd.

According to The South African, her vibrant personality and out of this world dancing skills are just some of the reasons she is so popular among music lovers.
She is unapologetically authentic and knows how to have a good time when performing for her fans. However, while some applauded the fun interaction with a fan, others thought she took it a step too far this time.
