Cape Town – Tweeps have offered to help plan a wedding after a video of a man proposing to his partner at a McDonald’s restaurant went viral on social media.
In the video clip that was posted to Twitter by @NkosinatiMagwa, the man and his partner are sitting at a restaurant when suddenly he opens a small box and takes out a ring.
He rolls his wheelchair closer to his partner who is all smiles, as she realises what is about to happen. He then proceeds to slide the ring into her finger.

Patrons at the restaurant cheer at the couple after the woman accepts the proposal.
“Dear South Africans and @McDonalds_SA. Can we kindly organize this couple’s wedding,” @NkosinatiMagwa captioned the video.
Social media users, including elebrity musician Ladydu, commented on the video and pledged to assist the couple with their wedding preparations.
“… Count me in. Send me their number, I’ll organise something nice for them,” wrote Ladydu.
