Cape Town – South African-born comedian and The Daily Show host, Trevor Noah is known for shying away from revealing details about his love life.
However, he recently gave his fans a few hints when he sat with Lesley Stahl during an interview on 60 Minutes.
He spoke, among other things, about his upbringing, career growth and settling in America since taking over The Daily Show in 2015.
Stahl asked the stand-up comedian if he had a girlfriend, and he responded “maybe”, with a mischievous smile before bursting into laughter.
Trevor also revealed he was not quite sure about the idea of having children.
“Sometimes I will meet kids who make me go, ‘I want a kid’. And then sometimes I’ll meet children where I go, ‘I hope that my sperm doesn’t do anything because this person is a terror’.”
The comedian reportedly broke up with his American girlfriend, Minka Kelly recently, following an on-and-off relationship dating back to 2020.
At some point, Trevor even bought a Bel-Air mansion to share with Kelly.
However, it was reportedly up for sale, sparking rumours of trouble in paradise between the two.
In December 2021, the two seemingly mended things, as they posted pictures from their trip to South Africa, making it the first time they’d shared snapshots of themselves together.
A source reportedly told People that Minka and Trevor had recently split up again because Trevor was too focused on work and not enough on their relationship.
“They’re officially over,” the report quoted the source as saying.
The Euphoria actress “has the best attitude”.
“She is very happy. She’d rather be single than waste her time with the wrong guy”, the source said, according to the report.
