Cape Town – A video of actress Sindi Majola wandering the streets of Yeoville, Johannesburg, has gone viral, revealing her drastic fall from a life of luxury.
Known for her roles in Rhythm City, Yizo Yizo, and Zone 14, Majola shared her story of losing everything despite earning a substantial income.
She spoke about the personal tragedy of her family’s death related to money and expressed a desire to live a more humble life.

“I had everything from the age of 22. I had my car, my apartment, my businesses, everything, but I wasn’t happy. They killed my family because of money.
“I was earning R52,000 in two weeks, and I said, ‘God, please take it all. I want to be like everybody else.’ God took it,” Majola said in the video.
She added: “I want to be like everybody. I don’t need help.”
The video has sparked widespread concern and sympathy on social media, with many criticising the South African entertainment industry for not supporting artists once they are no longer in the spotlight.
