Cape Town — South African rugby captain, Siya Kolisi, has been working hard on his French, as the star prepares for his move to Racing 92 after the World Cup.
Siya secured a record transfer fee to French club Racing 92 in January this year and the star is expected to stay in France once the Rugby World Cup concludes. The rest of the Kolisi family have already packed up and moved to France and have been living there for the past two months.
Siya got candid during a press conference ahead of the Springboks semi-final game against England. As he entered the media room, he greeted all the journalists with “Bonjour” before reverting to his usual “molweni” before sitting down.

Many fans took to the comments and saw the funny side of things, with many applauding the great camaraderie between the team, with suggestions that the team might have jokingly asked Siya to say “Bonjour” to mess with the journalists.
No doubt the team is ready for what is an important semi-final against England in a repeat of the 2019 World Cup final. The Springboks announced an unchanged lineup from the team that beat France.
