Cape Town – Social media is abuzz with mixed reactions over award-winning dancer and artist, Makhadzi, after she allegedly shoved one of her dancers off the stage during a performance at an event.
In the video that has since gone viral, the “Khokhova” hitmaker is seen jumping up and down alongside her backup dancers on stage, as they hype the crowd by splashing water in the air. Suddenly, Makhadzi makes a somewhat nudge gesture that causes one of the dancers to fall off the stage.
Her followers weren’t quite sure how to react to the video.

Makhadzi took to a live stream on social media to explain that she meant no harm.
“I was trying to push her towards the edge of the stage not off. Unfortunately I was focusing on her and the crowd and didn’t think that I would actually push her off stage. I’m sorry to those who felt otherwise about that video,” said Makhadzi.

Tweeps had mixed reactions:
But seriously why would she come to sprinkle water on the stage? I would have done the same like Makhadzi did… we r performing here this is not a summer game

No harm, she is our innocent girl this one. Afterall, it was her performance and she would make the best of it, than bring it to disrepute. Video explained! No harm❗ pic.twitter.com/yqyDDVr2q2

She meant to tap her to stop spashing water on her but i guess that tap was to hard for the already dancing girl ? …all of this was unintentional.
