Cape Town – TV star and qualified medical doctor Musa Mthombeni has dispelled rumours about late actor Mandla Thabethe being his father.
Fans believed they were related due to their resemblance.
Musa humorously addressed the rumours, and shared a video on Instagram featuring his actual parents returning from a trip to Portugal.
“The cutie pies are back from Portugal. They said I must tell you that life is not that bad yazi,” he captioned the video.
Comments from fans expressed surprise at the revelation and fondness for Musa’s family.
Minnie Dlamini wrote: “I love them more than you guys, and that’s a lot.”
Musa and his wife Liesl Laurie, who recently vacationed in Brazil, reflected on their extensive travels in 2023 across eight countries and five continents.
