Cape Town – South African singer, Kelly Khumalo is known for not shying away when it comes to speaking her mind.
Recently, she called out “spiritual healers” who shared sensitive information openly about other people on social media posts.
She took to her Instagram timeline on Wednesday to address the matter and shared a video which she captioned: “Someone had to say it. Morning” addressing the matter.
In the video, she reprimanded the so called “sangomas” or “spiritual healers whom she said had been leaving messages on her timeline, and advised them to rather use direct messages.
“There’s this bad thing I’ve noticed on social media that when somebody has a message for somebody they decide to scream it out on the post. What are the DMs for? What you’re doing is disrespectful.

“The gift is respected, umlayezo is respected … when you see that you are unable to reach the person you are looking to give a message, go back to your ndumba, phathla and pray and ask your guides and theirs to help you relay your message,” she said.
Her followers took to the comments sections to agree with her, with some saying that “spiritual healers” who did such had no respect for the calling.
However, some defended the “spiritual healers” that do saying that some time people asked “spiritual healers” about sensitive matters in public, hence the public reply.
