Cape Town – Three months after suffering a stroke, South African award-winning singer Lira is well on her way to a full recovery, judging by her latest healing journey update.
The singer, whose real name is Lerato Moipone Molapo, suffered a stroke while away for a performance in Germany in April.
The stroke affected her speech but the beloved singer has been diligent in updating her followers on her recovery journey.
Recently, she took to her Instagram page to share a video of herself during rehearsal with the Mzansi Youth Choir.

“During rehearsal of Return to Me, featuring Mzansi Youth Choir. Speech challenging but I can still sing,” she captioned the video.
In June the singer announced her SAMA28 nomination in the Best Remix of the Year category for her collaboration with DJ Maphorisa on her song Feel Good.
