Cape Town – South Africans have reacted hilariously to a viral TikTok video by an American user complimenting Mzansi travellers for their manners and patience.
The American TikToker, hollyclarkedu, posted the video explaining to Americans that South Africans show discipline and patience when it’s time for travellers to get off the flight following the landing.
“If you’re American, you’re not going to believe this flight,” she said explaining what she had witnessed.
“We landed like four minutes ago; no-one has jumped out of their seat, grabbed their bag, sat in the isle – pushing each other basically.
“What happens is this airline, and all of them in South Africa, only allow people to get off the plane every two rows at a time.
“There’s nobody who’s impatiently waiting; there’s no one who doesn’t follow the rules.
“I’m not even sure if we (Americans) could do that,” she says.

The best part of this video, however, is the comment section which has been bombarded by South Africans, explaining why South Africans on the flight are so patient.
